Against the $2,000 homeschool tier
In Texas, AmFaith could only be paid through the $2,000 homeschool account. Set against its published prices, a family would cover about $260 in the early grades and about $1,000 a year from grade 3 on.
Check approval first
An online program can be paid from an account only after the Comptroller approves it, as a participating school (accredited, two years in operation, with a Texas office) or as a marketplace vendor. Confirm AmFaith's current Texas status before you count on TEFA money.
A parish or church hall model
A Valley congregation could host online students in its hall a few days a week, giving space, supervision and community while the online school provides the lessons. Once accredited and two years old, a group like that may apply to TEFA as a school of its own.
How we relate to AmFaith
AmFaith is not a paid sponsor of this site and pays us nothing. We describe it because its pricing sits near the Texas homeschool tier, and we apply the same standards to it as to every school we cover.
